Twelve months of city lights and familiar places

The cover opens with a glowing declaration: “I love Chemnitz”. From there, the calendar takes you on a photographic journey through the city. January features the “ZUHAUSE” installation on the Brühl – a word meaning “at home”. February explores the illuminated architecture of the Stadtbad, while March offers a sweeping view across the city centre after dark.

Japanese cherry blossom on Jakobikirchplatz brings a softer mood to spring. Fireworks, fairground lights and a traditional bonfire on Hartmannplatz then fill the scene with colour and movement. Quiet corners alternate with shared celebrations, revealing different sides of city life.
